Welcome Humaira!

We welcome our newest graduate student, Humaira Yeasmin, to the group. She will be working on CuGaO2 synthesis and electrochemical characterization.

COSAM Talks – Melinda Lanius, Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grant Recipient COSAM Talks

Melinda Lanius is the recipient of a Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grant to support “Promoting Success in Mathematical Enrichment through Graduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Pre-Service Teach Training” from the Mathematical Association of America (MMA). In this episode, Lanius discusses how her educational outreach will positively impact local middle and high school students.


Our group’s research on two-electron nickel chemistry has been selected for NSF CAREER Award through the CSDM:B program! Thanks to all the hard work of our group members on the project.

GRC Electrochemistry

Byron traveled to Ventura, CA to attend the Gordon Research Conference on Electrochemistry where he presented a poster on our two-electron nickel redox chemistry. So many great talks/poster and new friends!
